Looking for an extra dance to supplement your school year? Check out the newest dance, Jenny’s Market!
Jenny’s Market is a stand-alone folk dance video lesson sold separately from the Year-Long Folk Dance Resource. The Year-Long Folk Dance Resource includes the following six dances:
- Heel/Toe Polka
- Tant Hessie
- Brighton Camp
- Oh Susanna
- Irish Jig
- La Marieta
This fun, silly, lively video folk dance lesson resource includes:
- Video lessons for six folk dances to fill up one school year, taught directly to the student.
- A recommended forecast on how to spread out your lessons throughout the year.
- Small and Large Group Adaptations via video and/or documentation.
- Lesson introductions to guide you and your student to where the dance originated, the traditional dance dress of the culture, and an interesting fact surrounding the dance itself.
- A “How to Plan Your Folk Dance Lesson for the Year in 30 Minutes or Less” video to help you prepare your own folk dance lessons in the future!
