Do you think using Charlotte Mason Beehive’s plan for The New World at Home and Little Folks would work for a form two student who is doing CM geography for the first time? I know that’s a little old but wondered if it would be useful since there’s been no exposure to the ideas yet? Maybe a case of a good book for geography is a good book at any age?
I looked at her website after the podcast. There’s so much good stuff there!!

I’m so glad you checked out Rachel’s site, Laura! I always say that the content isn’t a prerequisite, but the skill level is…so I do not recommend using the IB books for a Form 2 student. They are wonderful, but most likely a lot of the information, and the way in which it’s presented will seem too young for your older student. Rather, they should jump into the scope and sequence as far as content goes but you may need to back up to Form 1 level mapwork as that is a skill that develops over time. I hope that makes sense.
