I have enjoyed these latest podcasts, but I could so relate to Julie and Tabitha’s replies. I started an online platform a couple of years ago as well. It has been challenging but so rewarding! The ability for children to see that they are not alone in doing this kind of education and the opportunity to learn from other students across the globe has been so much fun! For students to learn that their ideas are not the only ones and to learn from each other has given them the idea that even though we are all different, there is a common thread. Knowing that everyone needs community is important, but some like-minded people are not in their area. This is where I have been passionate about feeling that gap! Wanting to give our kids community without taking up a whole day, online classes have provided that need. It still gives children time to pursue their individual passions, able to stick to short lessons, and provides peace without the hustle and bustle to go to and fro. I appreciate all you are doing in this area and am glad to see that math will be available too for others who need a passionate teacher. Thank you, Liz, Nicole, and Emily, for showing that this is an opportunity for many and it can be a beautiful thing.
